Lest you doubt every boy has an awkward stage around 14. This was about the time I was “accidentally” falling into the pool with my shirt on, and it looks like Tom might’ve been pulling the same maneuver.

April 19 the deadline on Sanders – New England Patriots Blog – ESPN Boston

Smart play for the Patriots is to wait here. Unless some other team swoops in on Sanders, they really have no reason to do anything just yet.

Pittsburgh has holes to fill this offseason, and the Patriots (if they are still interested in Sanders) could be waiting for the Steelers to make other roster moves, which would further limit their cap space and ability to match an offer.

Is it his agent, leaving all these messages and honestly thinking he’s going to hear back? Or is it Belichick, not giving either one of them the time of day? I think I’m going to go with Number 3. Because as hilarious as Belichick can be, he’s at his funniest when he’s being Passive-Aggressive Bill
