I’d be interested to hear your opinion on Jerry Angelo’s critique of the way BB built the pats roster this year. Was he misguided to invest so much cap space on the oft-injured Amendola and not pursue more reliable receiving options?

Ugh, I thought it was stupid and not even worth blogging about. I always find it a difficult line to walk when someone (who clearly doesn’t follow the team that closely) but is a notable name, says something about the Patriots and it gets press, even if it’s completely revisionist history. Usually I try not to draw any attention to it.

I thought Doug Kyed had the perfect response to it.
