It’s instructive to remember that New England lost its past two Super Bowl appearances when its high-octane offense sputtered and failed against the underdog New York Giants (in early 2008 and ‘12). Great breakdown from Andy Benoit, essentially calling Gronk the pivotal player of the Super Bowl. Myself I kind of think Edelman is way under the radar this week and given how huge a day Welker had last time against the Seahawks, I think he could be in for a big game, especially if Gronk draws a ton of attention.
