Harmon’s presence provided an opportunity to watch him against better competition, and learn more about his style of play. He seems to have good instincts, and when the football is thrown in his direction, good ball skills. At 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, his movement skills seem more fluid than 6-foot, 215-pound Wilson’s.

The Patriots linebacker has notched at least three forced fumbles and one interception during the first two weeks of training camp, and it doesn’t seem to be a fluky occurrence, either. Collins racked up three interceptions, seven forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and three defensive touchdowns to go along with 21 sacks in four collegiate seasons.
Wes Welker needs four catches in the season opener to become the Patriots’ all-time leader in receptions. Troy Brown’s 557 catches is currently the top mark, a total that took 15 seasons to accumulate (1993-2007).
