This video’s a little choppy but it shows why Wes Welker is one of the most fun players to watch in the NFL.

Sorry to abandon you fellow Patriots fans in these, the dark days of the NFL void. Happened upon this video today, don’t know where it’s from but Bruschi is certainly right.

Patriots Schwag Hunt: Hoodie Journal
Alright, usually when we post on Schwag Hunt we find horrible stuff that no one would ever buy, but this time I think I found something that is genius. I mean, it’s a hoodie AND a journal!
Be the envy of every classmate or co-worker while carrying around this New England Patriots Hoodie Journal. Features team name, logo and NFL shield on front.
They’re not kidding, everyone will envy you when you’re carrying this bad boy around. Writing your secret thoughts and dreams down, while still maintaining an unhealthy obsession with Bill Belichick. Fantastic!

DCB – Dime Cornerback

The Patriots defensive backs are a young, talented group, but is still unproven in big games and on the road.
For cornerbacks, Leigh Bodden was re-signed to a multi year deal, if nothing else he is a solid piece in the puzzle of creating the Belichick Defense 2.0. Darius Butler is a promising young player, said by Mike Reiss to be “ready to take the next step”. Devin McCourty is the first round pick, athletic and physical. Jonathan Wilhite and Terrence Wheatley are in the make or break years, though Wilhite is developing into a solid slot corner. The Patriots went out of their way to keep Kyle Arrington from signing with Cleveland off the practice squad. He was a special teams demon. Can he contribute as a corner? That will be something to follow.
For safeties, Brandon Meriweather is an every down player. Patrick Chung was being used as a “swiss army knife” all over the field. He seemed to be the first stringer over James Sanders, the calming veteran presence. Lastly is Brandon McGowan who flashed some playmaking abilities early on in 2009, but faded down the stretch. There could be a surprise cut from this group in either Sanders or McGowan.

Patriots Schwag Hunt: Mickey Mouse Pats Antenna Topper
You love Disney. You love the Pats. You also love cars. What the F are you gonna do? How can you express all these fanships in one compact way? Well here it is folks. I know football and Disney are obsessions for a lot of people, but the day I meet someone equally obsessed with both of them is the day I run for the hills.
