Do you think Jeff Demps going back to track is a big loss?
Not really, the depth at running back is still fine. Could mean more of a chance that Woodhead returns, but I expected him to anyway. The only place it might hurt a bit is on kickoff returns where I was hoping we’d get something out of him. He was an intriguing player since he had so much speed but it’s not like he was going to be the 1A running back and carry the load. Would’ve been a nice little toy to play with but the Pats will be fine.
Welp I guess this is the only run we’ll ever see Jeff Demps make for the Patriots. Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports he is going back to track. Whatevs…
