A Solid Contender for Patriots Fan Anthem…

Some days the Youtube gods are just good to you, and today has been one of those days with the discovery of the Skin the Bears music video and now this one. Simple, intense, and catchy, plus this one has a bevy of highlights. That’s right, I said “bevy”…

Holy Hoodie how have I never seen this video?! I think it might set the world record for stiff white guys trying to sing/have rhythm. You’ll probably notice Bob Lobel all over the place in this video. I’m not sure who the band is but clearly for 1986 they were trying to be on the cutting edge of the hair band movement, now it’s crazy insane how dated it looks. 

The good thing is that I can promise this song WILL NOT be stuck in your head the rest of the day. In fact it will be out of your head by the time you finish the video… IF you make it through the whole thing… and that’s a big if.

I don’t know what it’s going to take but we really need to re-sign Logan Mankins this off-season. The amount of praise that has been heaped on him since his return, especially from BB himself has been notable. I can’t imagine that’s not on purpose. 

I don’t expect anything to get done before the end of the season, and I’m guessing Mankins is going to want to at least test the waters, but it’s pretty clear the Patriots are well aware of his value to the franchise.
