The Patriots Offense Finds Its Roots | The Tailgater

Good breakdown of all the new offensive weapons from Mike Tanier.

Judging from what I saw in practices and Friday’s preseason drubbing of the Eagles, the Patriots offense is going to be just fine. It will be different, and it won’t be historic like it was in 2007 or 2011, but the Patriots will score enough points to keep the sky from falling. If anything, the Patriots offense is going back to its mid-2000’s roots, when the stats were less eye-popping but the championships more plentiful.
