Chung explained that good communication allows safeties to play “instinctively and fast”, so when safeties mesh, the back end of a defense becomes solidified.

“That’s your right-hand man,” he said. “You have to be able to communicate with just pointing, just eyes. It’s kind of like your brother, when you had fun with your brother, [saying] ‘Let’s do this prank’ and he knows what it is [before you mention it]. That’s how it is.

It also puts it in an easy cut-n-paste format for you so paste your name and projection in the comments below. We’ll see who gets the closest and maybe there’ll be a prize or something (working on PatsPropaganda t-shirts but we don’t have them yet).

Couple of questions: when does actual training camp start? Also do you think they’ll try to push Dobson into the starting job on the outside as soon as possible? And do you think Boyce will be thrown into a pretty prominent role early often? I don’t think they’ll role the dice on Jenkins considering he’s never been a vet productive receiver. And Jones may have potential but I don’t see the pats rolling the dice on him either

Practices open on Friday, July 26th, though the players will be reporting before that for testing. They won’t push Dobson, he’ll have to earn whatever he gets.
