This is a move that would make sense to me and feels like a very Patriots-y thing to do. The problem is who this roster spot comes at the expense of. I already have them keeping Gray/White/Bolden/Lewis/Cadet plus Blount when he returns. Would Jackson have to come at the expense of Cadet, an interesting young player who would contribute as a pass catcher? Or would they ever consider 7 running backs? Seems crazy, but given how unproven most of these guys are, not totally stupid. Stay tuned over the next couple days, because there are sure to be some surprising moves and probably at least one or two guys on the 53-man roster that are not even Patriots right now.
