FOotball

September 11, 2011 by Mike Dussault

Cornhole with BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Logan Mankins & Rob Gronkowski. If Mankins lost this he’s tarnished the image I have of him.

Notable Patriots number changes

September 6, 2011 by Mike Dussault

Kyle Arrington – 24 : strange, not often you see a vet change it up. But KA has an A corner look so if anything I bet it takes him to the next level.

Sergio Brown – 31 : so. much. better.

James Ihedigbo – 44 : always hoped he’d get back to 44. Solid look as well.

Antwaun Molden – 27 : I liked Molden’s look and a legit corner number like 27 should only help that.

Jeff Tarpinian – 53 : I’ve never been a big fan of 53, we’ll see if Tarpinian can make it work. I think he might be able to.

Shane Vereen – 34 : Love. Vereen 34 could be a big jersey seller in no time. Chance to be legendary, at least in terms of the last name/number potential meter. As for his play on the field, that will obviously have a lot to do with it.

Gerard Warren – 98 : I can never keep track of what number Gerard is, and this will only make it harder.

Brian Waters – 54 : I’m fine with it. He’s a veteran and a badass and I’m sure he’ll do the number justice. It’s like Seau taking 55, I was fine with that too.

“The coaches are tired,” Belichick said. “The players are tired, but we’re going to have a short week during the season. We’ve got a Sunday-Thursday game (week) during the season. That’s what training camp is for. It’s to suck it up. It’s to be mentally tough in whatever situations you have. You’re tired. You’re sore. […]
