Welcome back, LeGarrette Blount!

I was a little bit surprised but given what the Pats got out of Blount and their current depth at running back it makes sense. Blount should once again run like he has something to prove.

Patriots-Lions Ticket Giveaway!!

November 19, 2014 by Mike Dussault

I’m giving away TWO pairs of tickets to this weekend’s Patriots vs. Lions game! Since last time we had so many great entries I’m going to use the same method – it’s all about you and your Patriots swag!

I want to send the TWO biggest Pats freaks out there to cheer on our team against Stafford, Megatron and the rest of the Lions!

The rules are to first follow @nrgenergy, then tweet a picture of yourself in full Patriots gear – the more and the funnier the better – and make sure to use this caption:

“Trying to win #PatriotsNRG tickets courtesy of @PatsPropaganda & @nrgenergy”

If you don’t use this caption I won’t see it and you won’t get into the finals. So get your copy and paste on!

At 8pm EST today I will pick a collection of finalists and then post them on PatsPropaganda.com. Everyone will be able to vote for their favorite and the top two winners get the pairs of tickets.

Voting will be open until 11am EST tomorrow (Thursday), so you’ll have all night to get the vote out!

Lastly, if you entered last time we did this kind of contest, come up with something new this time. Those who won the tickets to the Bengals game are ineligible as well.

Good luck!!!

Maybe my favorite all-time Benjarvus Green-Ellis highlight, coming against the Lions in 2010.

Patriots DVOA Rankings Since 2001

I’ve been saying this week that this is the best defense since the mid-2000s and Football Outsiders’ DVOA stats back that up. The running game is up from 31st to 24th this week after Jonas Grey’s 200-yard day.

Perhaps the most amazing thing is that no matter who changes faces on offense they just keep on rolling in the passing game.

Don’t know about you but this lions D seems to have the perfect storm on the D-line to make Brady uncomfortable. Thoughts on the defense’s ability to compensate for a potentially low scoring day on offense?

November 19, 2014 by Mike Dussault

Up front I agree, but in the secondary I’m not so sure, especially when the Pats go 11 personnel with Vereen/Gronk/Edelman/LaFell/Amendola. As many are speculating, it makes sense for this to be a “spread ‘em out” game with Brady getting the ball out quickly.

Suh especially is the kind of guy that has given the Pats problems in the past, and it will be a good test for the revamped interior OL. I’ll be watching how Stork does especially, obvs.

The Lions haven’t exactly faced a murderers row of offenses, especially lately, when the really good offenses have been putting it all together. They’ve also had no tough outdoor games yet.

I think we’ll learn a lot more about the Lions this week than we do the Patriots. And I mean that in a good way, Patriots fans.

Do you see the patriots taking a qb as predicted with the first round pick

Probably not, but I wouldn’t completely rule it out like I would offensive tackle or cornerback. The NFL is a quarterback league. You not only need an “elite” starter, but developing quarterbacks, like the Pats have done with Matt Cassell, Brian Hoyer and now Ryan Mallett, is also great business. So if that one guy […]
