Malcom Brown Patriots Training Camp – 8/4/2015 | New England Patriots)

It’s not that I just hate the aesthetics of Malcom’s helmet/facemask but I’m legitimately worried he’s gonna get poked in the face.

Tweets of Note From Patriots Training Camp: Tuesday 8/4

August 4, 2015 by Mike Dussault

The Patriots were back at it on Tuesday in full pads as the injuries are starting to open up some opportunities for other players and, unfortunately, we had our first player of the summer carted off. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious for Brian Tyms. Here are the tweets that stood out.

Absent from practice: Flynn, Slater, LaFell, Gaffney, White, Fletcher, Cannon, Wendell, Hauptmann, Vellano, Derby, Chris Jones and Branch

Malcolm Butler just made a leaping, diving interception off of Tom Brady on a pass for Josh Boyce. Butler continues making big plays.

J. Edelman just walked into the field house. He was out here earlier, looked to be moving ok. But he tweaked right ankle/foot on Sunday.

Tyms looks badly hurt during a 1-on-1 tackling drill. Getting carted off. Drill went on around him as he lay on the ground.

With Edelman out, Amendola saw a lot of targets and made the most out of it. He looked good.

Defense had the edge again today. Held offense out of end zone on 3 straight goal line plays.

Players gather in big huddle at end of practice and Willie McGinest addresses them. Big cheer. #Patriots

Rob Gronkowski route-by-route breakdown: Where did new England Patriots TE the most damage in 2014?

Rob Gronkowski route-by-route breakdown: Where did new England Patriots TE the most damage in 2014?

Thanks to @Int_RJ for the tip on this one that I somehow missed, breaking down Gronk’s routes. The biggest spot for damage, running down the seam where he had 20 catches for almost 500 yards. When we talk about “deep threats” nobody thinks of Gronk, but that’s just what he does, stretching the defense right up the middle of it.

Best of the 2013 – 2014 New England Patriots | Team Highlights – YouTube

They didn’t win the Super Bowl, but the 2013 Pats are one of the most special teams of the Belichick reign. They had unmatched heart overcoming near catastrophic injuries. Hard to imagine a team that had more impossible comebacks. In the end, the injuries to Gronk, Wilfork, Mayo, Kelly and Talib were just too much to overcome, but they have it everything they had.

New Faces Standing Out at New England Patriots Training Camp

New one up on Athlon, taking a look at some of the new guys who have stood out in the first four practices. Obviously a long way to go, but a good start is a good start.

A blue-collar attitude,” he said. “It’s not easy being cut. I got cut from three of the top four teams. It thickened up my skin to keep pushing and working. Now I’m at where I am because they cut me and making me into who I am. DT Sealver Siliga nearly joined Denver Broncos again […]
