I always find it kinda funny how Coach BB has a soft spot for Navy players and undersized white crazies like the Ventrones. I don’t really see how he makes the roster with so many talented draft picks and young players already there, but I don’t think you can ever count a player like a Ventrone out.

Rapoport: Long Shot Patriots
The Patriots are one team that always seems to find low round picks (Julian Edelman) or guys who weren’t drafted at all (Gary Guyton) who come in and contribute. While Ian Rapoport gives some background on a handfull of them, I prefer to give them the old eyeball test to see who has the best chances.
Today we’ll be taking a look at some of the long shot Patriots and judging them entirely by how they pass my eyeball test. At the end of the day, the winner!
