Rob Gronkowski: Epic from Moment One as a Patriot
It was pretty clear this was the start of a beautiful relationship from the moment Gronk donned the Pats helmet and rocked out to the boos being reigned down upon him by the Pats haters.

He practices hard, he loves to play football. Whatever you ask him to do he’ll do his very best at it. If you want him to run through a wall he’ll put his head down and run through it.

Kinda bummed we won’t see any Manningface this weekend, unless Peyton might be on the sideline or in the press box? I would very much like that. At worst we’ll get acquainted with the Orlovskyface.

Patriots Today: Belichick Breaksdown Eagles Plays
Watch and learn…
Here’s the latest breakdown of efficiency rankings from Football Outsiders.
New England Patriots
3rd Overall
Offense: 2nd Overall
Defense: 23rd Overall
Special Teams: 8th
NOTES: Certainly looks pretty obvious that the place to attack the Pats defense is with your best WR and your Tight End, eh? This is a departure from last year when the Pats struggled mightily against pass catching RBs. Wonder if the four man front has something to do with that. More speed on the field certainly helps.
Surprised at the 8th ranking for Special Teams given how much our kick returners have struggled this year. Especially surprising since it seems like every skill player we have has returned a kickoff at some point this year. No one has been able to stick.
