Lesson One of a Route Clinic From Wes Welker | The Rookie Scouting Portfolio
Wide Receiver Technique Release Drills
Has there been any word on when Pats training camp is this year?
July 28th is probably a safe bet.
Of the 39 players who were targeted more than 100 times during the 2011 regular season, Welker finished 6th in receptions per drop (30.5), Gronkowski 15th (22.5), and Hernandez tied for 19th (19.8).

are ota or mini camp open to the public? if so is it free?
Negative, only training camp.
Welker is one of those rare players who has consistently busted through any defensive box that opponents have tried to put around him. It’s what makes him special, and has to be a consideration. You can’t simply say, “Interior receivers over 30 aren’t a good investment.’’ Welker is the exception, and not even close to the rule. Bill Belichick knows this.
