Alfonzo Dennard carted off from Patriots OTA

June 4, 2013 by Mike Dussault

Never good when the cart comes out, hopefully there’s enough time for him to get healthy before training camp, but Ras-I continues to impress, so he better hurry.

Patriots OTA concluding. CB Alfonzo Dennard left practice late, with help of a cart. Injury appeared to be left arm/shoulder.

Two more pass breakups for CB Ras-I Dowling, who seems to have had a strong string of OTAs. … More to come on @espnboston Patriots blog.

We’re trying to get all those guys up to speed. When you haven’t really played with anybody in a significant time or in pressurized situations there is definitely a learning curve and we’re going to try to work through it as much as we can,” Brady said from Harvard Stadium on Friday – the kickoff of the Best Buddies Challenge. “The practices have been competitive and we have to keep stringing them together. We have a couple more weeks of spring practice and that will lead into training camp.
