Great stuff from Big Vince via:
Vince Wilfork Unfiltered
Vince on who he would start (Mark Sanchez or Tim Tebow) if he were Rex Ryan.
“Tebow. He’s a winner. He’s proven. I mean, I’ll tell you what, both have positives and negatives. You really can’t go wrong. I’m glad I’m not in that boat. Put it like that.”
Vince on what part of the NFL he would like to change if he could.
“One thing I’d get rid of is the penalties, certain penalties. I can do without them. You have a guy that’s making $30 million a year (the quarterback), but you can’t touch him. C’mon, let’s be for real now. Me as a defensive lineman, it’s OK for somebody to hold me up, and another guy to come and chop my legs, and I can’t protect myself. I can do without that. That’s probably the main thing. Being able to hit a quarterback good. We need that. We need that back right there.
“But you hurt the franchise of your team if you’re allowed to tee off on the quarterback. Cuz you know, quarterbacks are wimpy.”
Ladies and gentlemen, Vince Wilfork.
I really like Shea McClellin, and I put out there on Twitter and wrote about it as well – as he develops in the NFL, there will be similarities to Clay Matthews. He’s a great pass rusher, but he’s just scratching the surface of his potential. He’s got really great lateral movement, and he’s naturally athletic. He was used as a moveable chess piece in a lot of sub packages at Boise State. I think Shea McClellin will be a better pass rusher in the NFL.

SQUAD: Patriots | PERIOD: 1971 – 2002 | CAP: 60.300
I have many great memories of watching the Patriots at the old Foxboro Stadium. I think I saw just about every inch of it, from getting to go to a few games up in the Reebok luxury box, to shooting a video for our local cable access channel that got us on the sideline, in the press box and in the locker room after the game where we interviewed Fred Smerlas about his horrible sweater. Hard not to miss those aluminum benches.
PatsPropaganda.com is officially two years old today! While we’ve been blogging about the Pats since December 2007 it wasn’t until April 20, 2010 that, with help from sister Sarah, we launched PatsProp as a place that was all mine for posting all things Pats related.
It’s hard to believe how many cool things have happened as a result of this blog. Just to name a few:
- Winning CSNNE’s 2011 Best Patriots Blog Award
- Co-hosting an episode of Pete Sheppard’s show with Erik Frenz for Patriots.com.
- Interviewing Pats players like Matt Light and Sterling Moore, and respected beat writers like Mike Reiss and Greg Bedard.
- Doing the Pats blogger panel at Blogapalooza.
- Take a tour of our Hall of Fame for a few more cool nuggets.
But really the greatest thing that has come from this blog has been connecting with so many great Patriots fans all around the globe. It’s great to feel part of a global community that all root for one great team, and what a crazy ride it has been even in just the two short years PatsPropaganda has been in existence.
So thank you to everyone who stops by the site and helped it grow into something I never imagined it could. In the words of Dirk Diggler “we’re gonna keep rockin’ and rollin’”.
And of course, as always, GO PATS!

I think last year they got lucky getting by the Ravens,” he said. “It’s good enough to get you through the regular season, for sure, because of the weapons you have. … I’m not sure the defense can do it totally to get to the Super Bowl, but they can get to the playoffs with that defense. And that defense will be better this year.
