The Best of PatsPropaganda This Week
It was a good week for the Patriots, locking up Sebastian Vollmer on a team-friendly deal, while also adding some receiver depth in Michael Jenkins. I expected that once Vollmer re-upped or left there’d be some other moves to quickly follow but that hasn’t happened yet. Still waiting on a potential Dwight Freeney or John Abraham move, but they’re biding their time at this point.
Otherwise it’s almost April which means we’ll be going into full draft mode with the unveiling of our Top 50 Patriots Prospects this week. I love the draft, but it’s certainly a relief once the picks are made and there are just a handful of players to analyze rather than hundreds.

Do you have any faith that Hightower can slim down a bit and move in space better? I remember Andre Carter did say during training camp last year that he expected him to “run like the wind”, after all.

With all of the wide receiver concern this year I feel like everyone is forgetting that we have Hernandez and Gronk. If they both can stay healthy (because lets be real, both of their injuries were just freak accidents) then we should be pretty set. Don’t you think?
I’d agree, if both stay healthy they’ll still probably win the division no matter who the wide receivers are. But still, it’d be nice to find an X, that’s what they’ll need to get back to the Super Bowl.
Wouldn’t it be badass if Mayo and Hightower grew out their hair to match with Brandon Spikes? Imagine 3 predator linebackers!
