Two young pass catchers that continue to stand out are tight end Zach Sudfeld and wide receiver KenBrell Thompkins. Both had plenty of positive moments throughout the session. Sudfeld made a few nice catches in traffic, while Thompkins had some impressive receptions of his own. (That didn’t mean either one of them had a perfect day, however. Thompkins could be seen later in the session taking a lap, while a ball for Sudfeld from Mallett was picked off by Adrian Wilson.)

Tim Tebow’s Last Chance | Smart Football

The good thing about this blog is that I won’t be inundating you all with constant Tebow here. Let’s just say I’ll post about him about as often as I post about any Patriots third string QB, because I don’t really care about using the Tebow name to jack up my SEO. 

So with that in mind, here’s a good post from Smart Football that says pretty much everything you need to know. If I stumble on something else that has some actual insight about Tebow I might post it, if not, this will be a mostly Tebow-free zone until he does something of real interest on the field.

Tim Tebow is a commodity when it comes to messing things up for defensive coordinators, making it hard for them to game plan for him when they don’t know his involvement in the packages or the game plan. Belichick, as we all know, is a smart guy. If he could add a weapon to his offense, whether he’s going to play him or not play him, and defenses have to spend time in practices and film sessions to prepare for what they may or may not see, this takes away from the overall preparation when it comes to preparing for an offense that is already very difficult to stop.

Belichick won’t flinch. He’s going to get peppered with Tebow questions, starting on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. ET when he holds his first news conference of mandatory minicamp, and he’ll have his answers well scripted. Expect something like this: “He’s here to play quarterback and we think he can help the team.” It would be a surprise if there is much more elaboration.
