Maybe I’m just jaded because this is clearly the best defensive performance of the season, but I’m disappointed because once again it was totally based on getting turnovers. As I’ve written about incessantly that’s what this defense is, and when teams play into their hands like the Jets did so dreadfully, it looks great.

But what I’m still waiting for is a solid defensive performance when they don’t get any turnovers. Don’t mean to be Debbie Downer, I’ll take a win like this over the Jets any week of the season. 

Still, I think this defense has something to prove before I feel confident about going up against the elite NFL clubs in the playoffs.
