They’re a very good team, one of the best players in football in Tom Brady playing for you, one of the best coaches in Coach Belichick so you know they’ll have a great gameplan and you know they’ll be well rested and they play hard, they play well and we’re going to have to go get ready for them tomorrow.” On his post-game talk with Tom Brady: “He was very nice and very kind and he said some very nice things and I really appreciated it.” On if Brady said ‘we’ll see you again’: “He might have said something like that. So I guess he’s a prophet, I don’t know. What an honor it is to play them again, have that opportunity, and it’s exciting as well, to be able to face one of the best quarterbacks and one of the best teams in the league.

Don’t want to see any of this Saturday… But really, how fast did Brady pop back up? He’s up before Dumervil is.

Fortunately, viewers have been able to hear Tebow on the field, and he does in fact sound like a little kid. The CBS microphones picked up this exchange between Brady and Tebow after the game. Brady: “Good luck the rest of the way. Maybe we’ll see you again.” Tebow: “OK!”

Patriots-Broncos playoff flashback. Ben Watson runs down Champ Bailey, but it was all for naught.

Ho hum. Just another day in the Patriots Dynasty. One of their coaches takes another job and they not only don’t lose the guy for the playoff run, they add another, younger, better coach. A coach who was the architect of their offense. The one who not only coached the most prolific offense in NFL history, but who got 11 wins out of Matt Cassel. And who this year already has gameplanned against Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New Orleans and San Francisco twice. And despite having a terrible team in St. Louis, managed to put up 27 points against San Fran in Week 17, the most they gave up all year. So while for most teams losing your OC in the middle of the playoffs would be a disaster, for the Pats it’s like the SuperFriends losing Aquaman and adding Superman.
