Who will win Superbowl XLVIII?

November 7, 2013 by Mike Dussault

The NFL season is well underway and the speculation as to who the favorites are to win Superbowl XLVIII is rampant. The Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49er’s and Seattle Seahawks have all started well, making up the top three favorites. The online casino seems to agree, having the Broncos placed as favorites at around 100/30 and the 49er’s and Seahawks at 7/1 and 11/2 respectively. However, after the first batch of games there seems to have been a rush of money on New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs, who have both gained some early momentum. The Chiefs seem the more likely to go all the way, but are still rated as a 12/1 outsider for the Vince Lombardi trophy.

The New England Patriots can never be ruled out and will continue to improve as the season continues. The Pats’ offense is starting to find its stride, with Stevan Ridley and Aaron Dobson making key contributions in recent weeks. Rob Gronkowski’s return from injury has provided a huge spark for the Patriots. And who would be stupid enough to write off a team with Tom Brady at quarterback. Their early season performance in the AFC East Division has been very strong, with a record of 7-2, and they have won three of their last five outings. The bookmakers are still convinced by the Pats as well, and have them placed at a fair 8/1 to be the Superbowl champions.

The Fruit Bowl XXV is probably the most fun and quirkiest American football slot game around. It blends the football and a fruit machine, by making the typical fruit reel icons (bananas, cherries, pineapples etc) into football players, referees and cheerleaders – hence the name of the game. It also boasts a fine touchdown-based bonus game, similar to that of $5 Million Touchdown, but here you are playing for free spins – and possibly a bigger payout.

The All-22: Teams are turning primary receivers into slot machines | Audibles – SI.com Good stuff from one of the best out there, Doug Farrar. Really the terms “slot corner” and “slot recevier” have changed and are more play-to-play than player-to-player. Admit it — if I say “slot receiver,” you probably think of Wes Welker, and […]
