When people ask me about the offseason, I tell them, I’m going to have a Jerry Rice/Walter Payton mentality where whatever you do isn’t enough,” he said. “I’m going to have a work ethic where I know, in my heart of hearts, I’m going to outwork everybody. That’s what I hope to achieve.

Maybe it’s just me, but it seems kind of funny how there isn’t a lot of people beating the “Jonas Gray will start next year” drum. I don’t necessarily agree with that statement, but usually after a guy has a breakout game like that as a rookie, people tend to expect big things. I guess his disappearance after oversleeping the week after his SI cover appearance was what stuck with Patriots nation.

Still, the Pats could use a jump out of Gray, it sounds like he has the right attitude.

Mankins/Patriots agree to 6-year deal

ESPN’s Adam Shefter reports that the Patriots and Logan Mankins have come to terms on a 6-year contract. Wow, I don’t know where to start. Has there ever been a more tenuous contract situation for the Patriots that actually resolved itself in a long term deal like this? As everyone has known all along it […]
