“We’re full speed ahead now in our preparations for the Jets,” Belichick said in his opening remarks. “It was a pretty exciting game last night. Both teams were right there at the end. It looked like it could have gone either way. The Jets made the plays they had to make at the end of the game and won it. That’s kind of what we all think of playoff football as being – two good teams playing right down to the wire.

"We split with them this year, so now it will be the best two out of three, and that’s probably the way it should be. We’ll find out which team can advance next week. It’s a big challenge for us. I don’t think the last game, or even the first game, are going to mean a whole lot. Both teams know each other well. We’re ready for a whole new week of preparation. Even though we’re familiar with them, and they’re familiar with us, I feel like every time you play a team things go a lot differently. We’re not expecting anything other than starting this game off and trying to do a better job than the Jets do on Sunday afternoon.”

If the pats are not happy with the tightend depth, why not sign Keller or Finley

Seems like they’re not ready otherwise I’m sure someone else would’ve signed them as well. I think it’s safe to say that the Pats will be making more moves at the position before the season starts. Maybe even right after cutdowns, there’s always a lot of unexpected movement at that time. One thing they cannot […]
