Week 1 Injury Report – 9/11

September 11, 2020 by Tom Shaw-Mellors

Today the final injury report of the week was released, let’s take a look at the game time projections for both team’s, ahead of Sunday’s regular-season opener.

New England Patriots

*- New injury/status change

OUT
WR Gunner Olszewski
DOUBTFUL
NONE
QUESTIONABLE
LB Cassh Maluia (Knee) Light practice
TE Dalton Keene (Neck) Light practice
WR N’Keal Harry (Shoulder) Full Practice*
DL Chase Winovich (Shoulder) Full Practice*

Gunner Olszewski is the major change in today’s report as he is officially out of Sunday’s game, Gilmore and Edelman are off the report and are good to go, Maluia and Keene were present, but in a limited capacity. The new faces appearing in the report were N’Keal Harry and Chase Winovich, but the consensus is that all four will be available.

Miami Dolphins

OUT
NONE
DOUBTFUL
S Clayton Fejedelem (Pectoral) Light practice
QUESTIONABLE
NONE

At somewhat of a surprise, the Dolphins have a near clean bill of health for Sunday’s game, with only Clayton Fejedelem being in doubt to participate. Miami had eight players on yesterday’s report, today they have just one, probably a precautionary measure, but I was surprised that there wasn’t any listed as questionable.

The Patriots, as we know, used three running backs in featured roles during Week 3, but weren’t the only team to go with a by-committee approach. The Falcons, who were without Jackson in Week 3 (and likely will be again in Week 4), relied upon both Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling to combine for nearly […]
