Tom Brady: #1 on NFLN’s Top 100 of 2010

I finally just caught this segment last night and I can’t think of two players I’d rather have present TFB than Ray Lewis and Bevis. Two players who have faced Brady in quite a few big games and unfortunately the last two teams to end the Patriots seasons in ‘09 and ’10.

The biggest truth of this whole segment? When Revis says “if they protect him the Patriots roll”. I think that will pretty much be my one and only key to every game in 2011. Forget the pass rush. Forget the deep threat. Just protect TFB and the Pats are probably gonna win. It’s just that simple.

With Carpenter’s release, the Patriots’ linebacker corps looks like this: Starters: Mayo (weakside), Brandon Spikes (middle), Hightower (strongside) Backups: Mike Rivera (middle), Tracy White (weakside), Rob Ninkovich (statring end who could play linebacker) This group looks a bit thin, although the Patriots have also been using safeties Tavon Wilson and Nate Ebner in linebacker-type roles […]
