There can’t be a Patriots game in San Diego without bringing back what was, until this year, the best fan experience of my life. I chronicled the tale here on my first Patriots blog back in 2007, from magically getting an amazing ticket, to finding out my childhood best friend lived within walking distance of the stadium, and of course, the incredible upset win. Fun looking back at one of my defining experiences as a Patriots fan.

Throwback Thursday: Patriots Preseason Wrap: 0-4, Could Bruschi Be Shown the Door?

Here’s a link to my original Patriots blog, a post after the Pats had just wrapped up an 0-4 preseason. It’s funny but you can almost see the writing on the wall that this team had a 2007 hangover and were not ready to play. I remember Belichick talking in his Football Life, which was during the 2009 season, referencing how unprepared the team was for the opener where Brady ultimately had his season ended.

Anyway, thought it was a fun flashback…
