Rodney Harrison beat out Mike Vrabel and Richard Seymour to become the latest former member of the dynasty voted into the Patriots Hall of Fame. I’m going to be honest, I would’ve gone Mike Vrabel over him, but Rodney’s deserving nonetheless.
Let’s take a quick look back at Harrison’s tenure with the Patriots and the most memorable moments.
I saw with Tedy Bruschi, Willie McGinest, all the old Patriots alumni — we were so happy, so excited,” said Harrison. “I was on the set watching and when it happened I went crazy. I had to maintain some level of professionalism, but I was ecstatic. Everyone took a lot of pride. Whether it’s them attacking Tom Brady, attacking Bill Belichick, that is still our organization and we’re going to be Patriots forever. We’re so proud — to win like that — in that fashion, especially with Seattle being so cocky and being so arrogant the entire year. It was one of those victories where you shove it right up their butts.

When you play for the Patriots, you’re the most hated team in the league because you’ve had success, because they don’t like the personality of Bill Belichick, because they don’t like the pretty boy Tom Brady. They don’t like guys like us that are prepared, that are smart, that go out there and take care of business. I heard other coaches and GMs coming out talking trash. we beat you because we out-prepared you, we’re smarter than you and we’re more physical than you.
