December 20, 2014 by Mike Dussault

With Julian Edelman sitting out this weekend (concussion), the focus turns to Danny Amendola to step into the Z-receiver role that Edelman usually plays.

With this in mind I have a football signed by Amendola to give away this weekend thanks to nrgenergy. So send me your stat line for Amendola against the Jets. Closest gets the Amendola ball.

It’s been a blast this year thanks to my partnership with NRG this season. I’ve given away tickets and swag and met a ton of awesome Patriots fans on both coasts. Not to mention a great set of tickets for myself to the Pats-Broncos game, sitting in the best seats with the man, the myth, the legend @FitzyGFY.

Check out all the awesome stuff NRG is doing, not just at Gillette Stadium, but everywhere.

Excited for another tailgate playing Santa Claus in San Diego today. If you’re there, swing by G4/H4 and if you can find me, you might just get some free stuff thanks to nrgenergy. I’ve also thrown in some of my own PatsProp tees. Will be another fun day of tailgating with Pats fans from around the country and some old friends, and (hopefully) a Pats season-defining win.

Patriots-Lions Ticket Giveaway!!

November 19, 2014 by Mike Dussault

I’m giving away TWO pairs of tickets to this weekend’s Patriots vs. Lions game! Since last time we had so many great entries I’m going to use the same method – it’s all about you and your Patriots swag!

I want to send the TWO biggest Pats freaks out there to cheer on our team against Stafford, Megatron and the rest of the Lions!

The rules are to first follow @nrgenergy, then tweet a picture of yourself in full Patriots gear – the more and the funnier the better – and make sure to use this caption:

“Trying to win #PatriotsNRG tickets courtesy of @PatsPropaganda & @nrgenergy”

If you don’t use this caption I won’t see it and you won’t get into the finals. So get your copy and paste on!

At 8pm EST today I will pick a collection of finalists and then post them on PatsPropaganda.com. Everyone will be able to vote for their favorite and the top two winners get the pairs of tickets.

Voting will be open until 11am EST tomorrow (Thursday), so you’ll have all night to get the vote out!

Lastly, if you entered last time we did this kind of contest, come up with something new this time. Those who won the tickets to the Bengals game are ineligible as well.

Good luck!!!

I’ve been teasing this for a while but now is the time to finally make the grand announcement. We’re having a big tailgate giveaway extravaganza before the Patriots-Broncos game featuring not only yours truly, but two of the best Patriots pundit personalities around – Jerry Thornton and the man, the myth, the legend… Fitzy!

It’s the Patriots Super Secret Tailgate Party!

Where will we be exactly? That’s the secret. All I can tell you is that it will be in a lot close to the stadium. We’ll start giving clues to our location a few hours before game time (watch our twitter feeds and the #PatriotsNRG tag).

We hope that you’ll come find us – not only to prepare for the biggest game of the season with us, but because we’ll have a bunch of awesome stuff to give away courtesy of NRG!

We’ll have tickets to the Pats-Bills game, swag bags, signed memorabilia and even some of our own t-shirts to give away! So watch for the clues, because those who find us first will be rewarded!

What better way to pregame for the latest epic chapter of Brady-Manning than with some of the biggest Patriots fans on the planet.

We hope to see you all there!!

Crowd energy big driver for Patriots on Sunday

October 7, 2014 by Mike Dussault

Guest Post from Cody LaChance

(Mike D. note – Cody was lucky enough to be voted winner of one of my ticket giveaways last week, thanks to NRG. Here’s his report from a rocking Gillette Stadium…)

Boston Barstool’s Jerry Thornton has coined the Gillette Stadium crowd as “The Real Housewives of Foxboro”. They only get loud after big plays, and they seem to go quiet too often. They aren’t a feared crowd like the CenturyLink and Arrowhead groups, but

Sunday may have changed that.

Gillette Stadium was rocking. From the time of the first kickoff through the end of the game, the crowd was on its feet and making lots of noise. Did the crowd set a record for stadium noise? No. But did their energy and enthusiasm translate into a great showing by the Patriots? You better believe.

I was lucky enough to be part of the crowd after winning a pair of tickets from PatsPropaganda and NRG and it was an experience I’ll never forget.

Andy Dalton and the Bengals offense never really got into a rhythm. They had a few drive killing penalties that seemed to be in part of the loud stadium making communication hard for Cincinnati. The defense was thriving off the energy from the stands as they did not allow a 3rd as the Bengals boasted a great offense coming into this play that had not given up a sack yet and has explosive weapons like A.J. Green, Giovanni Bernard, and Mohammed Sanu.

The offense was feeding off the noise as well. Brady rushing for first downs on the first drive got the place going and there was no looking back. Gronk only fueled the masses as he made big play after big play, headlined by his 16-yard touchdown pass late into the 3rd quarter that put the game out of reach for the Bengals. It is a great sign moving forward seeing #87 playing mean out there and getting back to his trademark “Smashing and dashing” ways.

What a way to quiet the critics. The Patriot reign is not yet over. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots still are a team that will contend for the Super Bowl. The fans at Gillette Stadium and the team were backed into a corner and they both showed up Sunday night.

Going forward, these crowds need to continue to be loud and on their feet from start to finish. If the fans and team can show up like that each and every home game, this team will be tough to beat in Foxboro.
