2014 mock draft

Getting a late start here on draft week, and what better way to kick it off than a mock from Frenz. Won’t be dropping my own final mock draft (somehow I’ve managed to do just one this whole offseason!) until Wednesday. But lots of good stuff in here from Frenz.

Don’t love it, feel like the more physical centers are better value a little later. But Marcus Smith and Dakota Dozier are guys on my 50 Pats prospect board.

I like this mock draft from Mike Loyko, always makes me feel a little better about my draft board when the guys like Mike who really study this stuff far closer than I do have a majority of guys I have in my Top 50.

Clearly the bandwagon started on Jace Amaro, moved to Ra’Shede Hageman and is now coming to Dominique Easley. For anyone who has followed this blog, they know I’ve been DYING for them to take a guy like Easley, so I won’t get my hopes up.

I think the position that could be the selection in the first round that I haven’t seen on any mocks is at guard.

Lots of good names on this mock from Doug Kyed. I need to take a closer look at Bishop Sankey, his name has popped up a lot around the Pats’ mocks.

Solid mock from Frenz, I’m telling you G/C in the first two rounds could really happen. Especially in a trade back scenario.
