If the Patriots are to repeat again it will be all about the how good the defensive front seven can be, a large part of which depends on how healthy they stay. That was the secret of the 2000′s, having a bunch of defenders in their prime that could dictate to the offense. For all the comparison’s to the secondaries of 2010-2012, there’s just no comparison as far as the front seven goes. Remember when Tully Banta-Cain was the top defensive end? Or Gary Guyton being a key linebacker? How about Derrick Burgess? 

No, this team is so much more talented up front. Once again it will just come down to coming through in the clutch.
