Great must-read piece on Brandon Lloyd. It could be all about him and Welker tomorrow…

“You practice as fast as possible. I really feel like the race is between the defensive line getting to the quarterback and it’s not necessarily the race between me trying to get open,” Lloyd said. “The route maybe is supposed to be at 16 yards, but according to how the release was – if it wasn’t clean, or what kind of stem you did in the route – it may come out to be a 10-yard route. That’s just the timing and the body language that the quarterback sees, ‘All right, he’s going to break now,’ and he’s going to let the ball go.”
