Marcus Cannon was on the practice field for the Patriots today! It’s an exciting development not only for the obvious reason of Cannon having overcome non-Hodgkins lymphoma, but also for our selfish reasons of adding a young, talented interior offensive lineman to the mix for the Pats.

Who knows how long it will take for Cannon to get into football shape or if he’ll even be able to contribute this year. But he’s a monster of a man and adds depth at a spot where the Pats badly need it. Brian Waters has been an excellent addition at RG, but Cannon could be the long term replacement there and it’s good to know that he’s healthy and on the road to living out a dream of playing in the NFL.
