We all know how Belichick likes veteran players on the end of the career like Andre Carter. With that being said, what do you think about the possibility of Justin Tuck being signed to fill that role next year?

December 31, 2013 by Mike Dussault

I’d be all for it, I mean he was a big part of shutting down our offense in two Super Bowls and is just the kind of player they should add. But how much does he have left in the tank and how much would he want to stick in a similar 4-3 scheme as opposed to the Pats’ hybrid.

Although after just five weeks on New England’s eight-man roster, Siliga was promoted to the 53-man roster. He’s played in five games since, starting four of them. He’s totaled 23 tackles and three sacks over that span.

Hey Mike, any particular reason why the Pats didn’t wear their red throwback jerseys this season?

December 31, 2013 by Mike Dussault

Was wondering the same thing myself. Also noticed this was the first year since 2008 (I think) that they have’t worn an alternate or throwback, and have worn blue at home and white on the road (except Miami of course) for every game.

We’ve seen them wear white at home quite a few times since the dreaded 2008 GU! game.

Coach Belichick always told us a story before we’d go on that last break after the mandatory minicamp in June. It was about Bernie Kosar. The conditioning test is a series of sprints, and depending on what position you play, it could be 40, 50 or 60 yards. The quarterbacks had to do 50-yard sprints […]
