With the performance, Brady is pretty much the all time postseason leader among quarterbacks in just about everything. The Patriots host the winner of the Colts-Broncos game in the AFC title game next Sunday, a record ninth conference title game by Brady. With a win there, he’ll become the first quarterback to make six Super Bowl appearances.

Brady may or may not be the greatest QB of all time. That debate will continue forever. But he’s certainly the most accomplished QB of all time, in terms of the combination of both individual stats and team results.

NFL play-callers are boring. Sherman estimates about 26 teams run the same handful of plays on third down. Of the teams he’s played over the last two years, he can think of three that don’t: New England, Denver and New Orleans.
