PatsPropaganda & Frenz Podcast: AFC Championship Review and Super Bowl preview
Join me and Frenz live at 12noon EST today as we talk about the one thing no one else will – the actual game where the Patriots blew the doors off the Colts once again, this time to advance to the Super Bowl.
While initially we were going to swear not to talk about you know what, I think we have to talk about Belichick’s press conference, which seemed to collectively galvanize Patriots fans behind their team once again.
Otherwise it will be ALL FOOTBALL, NOT FOOTBALLS!
It seems safe to say the level of animosity the Patriots harbor for the Colts is heightened after Sunday’s AFC title game, with the presumption that Indianapolis not only brought the issue of underinflated footballs to the NFL, but also leaked the information publicly to create a distraction and firestorm that ignited to the point that national network newscasts were leading with the story.

In Monday’s Patriots team meeting, third-year safety Tavon Wilson and second-year players Jake Bequette (defensive end), Josh Boyce (wide receiver) and Joe Vellano (defensive tackle) were recognized by coach Bill Belichick in front of everyone as the practice players of the year.

“Anyone who has seen us practice knows that we make it harder, not easier, to handle the ball.
Our players train in conditions that a lot of people would recommend that we not drive in. That’s what they do. They’re a physically and mentally tough team that works hard. That trains hard. That prepares hard. And they have met every challenge that I’ve put in front of them. And I know that because I work them every day…
This team was the best team in the AFC in the regular season. We won two games in the playoffs against two good football teams. Best team in the post season.”
—Bill Belichick, 1/24/15.
