The Patriots are one team that always seems to find low round picks (Julian Edelman) or guys who weren’t drafted at all (Gary Guyton) who come in and contribute. While Ian Rapoport gives some background on a handfull of them, I prefer to give them the old eyeball test to see who has the best chances.
Today we’ll be taking a look at some of the long shot Patriots and judging them entirely by how they pass my eyeball test. At the end of the day, the winner!

Of the picks in the first three rounds I think it’s pretty safe to say we know what we’re gonna get with McCourty, Spikes and Gronk. But it’s Hernandez and Cunningham that should be the most interesting to watch. Both seem extremely versatile and will give the coaches many options when game planning.
