Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Welkers ACL
I really have no clue when to expect Welka back now. Originally I thought it was possible he could miss the entire season. Then, after reports said he was doing well, I projected a return in late October against the Vikings. Then I backed it up to week six versus the Ravens. Now? I have no idea. The fact is that with 3 of their furst 4 games in the division the Patriots must must must get off to a good start. The week 5 bye might really help reset Welker if he plays the first four games. I think it’s a very good possibility, but first he’ll have to not be put on PUP at the start of training camp.

Behold the greatest non-Steeler road playoff win of the Patriots dynasty. I was actually at this game, sitting about 14 rows behind the Patriots bench. After it was over the Patriots fans partied long and hard in the stadium while the Chargers fans fought eachother outside. It remains my greatest live fan experience, with the 2009 opener (Brady’s greatest career comeback) as a close second. Nothing can beat attending a road playoff upset win.

I’ve been using Pro Football Focus to pimp Tully for a while now and Chris Price is on the bandwagon too. If TBC gets some help pressuring the QB from the d-line and other OLB watch out!
Tom Brady is the best by far. It’s not even close. Drew Brees has got to be right there. Tony Romo’s a good player. I’ll take Philip Rivers there. And Peyton, he’s right there. No order except for Tom being the best. He does things that other guys can’t do. His pocket presence is better than those guys by far. He throws a better ball than just about all those guys. He’s a winner – better than all those guys.
