CHFF: Power Rankings – What a Difference a Week Makes!

10. NEW ENGLAND (6-2)
Last week:
 34-14 loss at Cleveland
The Cold, Hard Football Facts: The Patriots have faced a very average set of quarterbacks through eight games, but collectively they’re playing just as well as Tom Brady (Brady passer rating, 95.7; Defensive Passer Rating, 93.9).

Patriots Practice Squad Reset

Patriots Practice Squad Reset

Patriots’ practice squad:
QB Jonathan Crompton
CB Tony Carter
S Ross Ventrone
OT Steve Maneri
OL Thomas Austin
TE Carson Butler
CB Thad Turner
DL Lorenzo Washington

I find it kind of weird that there’s no OLBs on here when last year there were always at least a couple of them.

Steelers Will Start Backup at Left Tackle

November 10, 2010 by Mike Dussault

Steelers Will Start Backup at Left Tackle

If we had some kind of a pass rushing monster I might think is a little bit of a bigger deal, but it could make a little bit of a difference in where the Pats decide to stick big Vince.

I was surprised last week to see Myron Pryor at nose and Mike Wright at RDE when it seems their specialty for most of the year has been pass rush. So this week I’m going to go on a limb and say we see a Brace-Wilfork-Warren front three.

Or perhaps it makes sense to put Vince at LDE and dare the Steelers to run the defensive right side. Make them predictable and it’s advantage Pats D.
