A new Patriots highlight video for this last Friday of the lockout. I think.
The signs are pretty clear that football is close to being back. New Patriots highlight videos are popping up just about every day on YouTube, the traffic on the blog is starting to pick back up and Patriots fans on Twitter are starting emerge from the off-season football hibernation. The anticipation is building and I’m especially excited to continue to build on the amazing year last year (both on the field for the Pats and here on the site).
Of course the CBA negotiations are ongoing, and I’ve pretty much just ignored that whole can of worms here on this space. Really what have we the fans lost? A delay to Free Agency, no glimpse of the new guys at mini-camps, and the Hall of Fame game. We’ll live.
This thing will get done, but like all negotiations there is back and forth. I don’t really care about taking sides. I just want football, so wake me up when Training Camp and Free Agency start. Until then it’s still the off-season…
