More from new Patriot Albert Haynesworth

More from new Patriot Albert Haynesworth

I’ve kind of been holding tempered expectations for Albert Haynesworth, just holding my breath before he gets cut or injured. Because if I did allow my expectations to rise I’d do nothing but write posts all day about how dominant him and Wilfork will be at the heart of this defense.

Needless to say everything that came out of Haynesworth’s mouth today is automatically raising my expectations. He just might be on the field week one after all. Here’s a sampling but I suggest you click and read the whole thing…

On playing a 3-4 defense and possibly two-gapping. “I’m willing the attack the quarterback, kill the running back, and knock everything back. … I don’t care what it is. Whatever gap the ball is in, that’s the gap I want to be in.”

First pic of Ras-I Dowling

From Frenz’ twitter practice report it sounds like this was a pretty good sample of Ras-I’s work today, giving up catches all over the field. That has to be somewhat expected for a rookie on day one stepping into a full pads practice when all the other guys have had a few days to get their legs under them.

I like the #21, not so sure about that facemask on a DB though. Need a better pic to fully judge it though…

Randy Moss says he is retiring.

  • 13 seasons, age 34
  • 153 TD’s
  • 6 Pro Bowl seasons
  • Could be Hall of Famer
  • All of the above, however, comes with his personality, a challenge for any team

Review: Belichick and Brady by Michael Holley

I had the chance to review a copy of the championship edition of Michael Holley’s Belichick and Brady book and really enjoyed it. It was fun to re-live the past decade-and-a-half of Patriots football but solely through the lens of the two biggest characters at the center of it. It’s really been such a remarkable […]
