Apparently the Jets didn’t notice that Shaun Ellis was unblockable in the playoff game against the Patriots last year(see exhibit A above)? Pats had him in for a visit today. With the Jets only offering him a one year deal for the veteran minimum I’m all for bringing Ellis in. Of all the guys the Patriots have brought in over the past few days I like Ellis the best. Yes, even better than the unstoppable pass rush machine Matt Roth.
I’m really at a loss for how they’d just let Ellis get away and are ready and willing to insert rookie Mohammad Wilkerson into the starting lineup without hesitation.
