A lot of Patriots fans liked Ryan Kerrigan heading into this year’s draft including FOPP’er Kristin over at The Foxhole, with the people who were writing him off (like yours truly) unconvinced he could play OLB in the 3-4 defense. Of course the Patriots ended up going to primarily a 4-3 defense this year and then Nick Caserio drops this nugget today:

Ryan can play in any system. Good football player, tough, smart, instinctive, strong, disruptive player, causes a number of fumbles, which he’s caused four [of] to this point in this season for the Redskins. He can play in any defense. It doesn’t matter what front you’re playing, what defense you’re playing; he can probably play in any of them. 

So uh, yeah…

At least it will be good to see the young pass rusher this weekend, hopefully it’s just not in our backfield or anywhere near TFB.

top 5 julian edelman moments.

PatsPropaganda note: Great stuff here from HerebyNewEnglandRules. I know there are a lot of Julian Edelman fans out there that will enjoy this.

THIS IS SO HARD THOUGH, here’s my attempt.

1. His first ever punt return, which ended up being a touchdown in Philly.

2. His punt return against Miami last year.

3. His hit on LT at the Jets game in November.

4. His punt return against the Chiefs a few weeks ago.

5. His tackle against Vince Young the other week.

That was fun 😉

Have to admit I really like the aesthetics of the Redskins stadium. Feels closed in and slightly claustrophobic. I imagine it’s a tough place to play for the visiting team.
