Usually we kick off each non-division week with some videos of past memorable match-ups. Unfortunately with the Broncos there isn’t a whole lot to choose from. It’s pretty much this play, and the intentional safety game.
This play summed up Ben Watson’s Patriots career perfectly, amazing physical specimen of a play, that ultimately didn’t really matter much.
I hesitated even putting this, the first playoff loss of Tom Brady’s career, up here on the blog. Hoodie knows we haven’t seen a Lombardi Trophy since.

Frenz: New England Patriots Playoff Hopes Hinge on Defense’s Ability to Be Good Enough
The title pretty much sums it up. I doubt there’s a Patriots fan out there that is completely confident that our defense is going to suddenly become stout for a three game playoff run. The best we can hope for is that they maintain how they’ve been playing in the red zone, can force some turnovers and make just a couple key stops to get a win.
The games will have to unfold perfectly for the Pats to make a legitimate Super Bowl run and Tom Brady will have to be lights out like he hasn’t been in the playoffs since the Super Bowl 39 run.
