Will we make it through a single week without Gronk dominating something in some way?! I hope not. Zoobaz and a Gronk scooter. I love this man.
Of course we weren’t giving up without a full shot of this now infamous scooter Rob Gronkowski has been using this week in Florida. We first learned of this scooter after Sunday night’s party at the Jason Taylor benefit and it’s been an obsession ever since. The thought of the guy throwing broads over his shoulder and scootering back to a hotel room is intriguing. And now we get a full look at this beast ride. Mike Wallace, the Patriots and another Super Bowl run | National Football Post
Here’s a national take on Wallace being a good fit for the Pats. Personally I think it’s an expensive and risky move that I doubt BB is willing to pull the trigger on.
And we’ve been hearing about “the window closing” for about five years now. Maybe for Tom Brady it’s closing, but when you look at the youth and talent at other places on the roster, along with all the draft capital they have to work with, I think it’s pretty apparent the window isn’t closing on the Patriots any time soon.
I love Brady and hope he gets another one, but when he does hang them up the Patriots will have a prepared player to take over for him who will be surrounded by a veteran defense (by that point), and two monster offensive tackles and Gronk all in their prime.
Many have asked about the Patriots making a run at Wallace, having picks 27 and 31. I don’t see it due to (1) greater needs on defense; (2) an organizational philosophy to not reward other teams’ free agents at that level; and (3) the standard operating procedure of Bill Belichick is to use low first-round picks to secure additional second-round picks or future selections.

NFL Top 10 Teams That Didn’t Win a Super Bowl – #1 – 2007 New England Patriots (by BostonSports87)
Maybe this video might bother some of you out there but not me. 2007 will always have a special place in my heart despite how it ended. The Pats had the balls to go for 16-0 and they laid waste to a lot of good teams along the way.
Just because a season doesn’t end with the Lombardi doesn’t mean it’s not a positive season in the legacies of Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the Patriots organization.
They were two minutes from being the undisputed greatest NFL team of all time. One drive changed that, but this was still a special team that dominated in a way not see before or after in NFL history.
I know there have been many disappointments on the biggest stages since February 2005, but no fan base has had a crazier ride. Through the good and the bad I’ve enjoyed it all, and will continue to do so when the 2012 season starts in a little over six months.

The offseason doesn’t start for a little bit longer [April 16]. Just taking it week by week. In my mind, I’m going to be 100 percent any time in a couple weeks. I’ve talked to many people that had the same surgery and everything – and just listening to the doctor and whatever he has to say and every single week, just take it week by week, and try to get healthy.

Coincidence that the off-season program starts on the birthday of both yours truly and BB? Probably.

St. Louis is ready to deal its pick, and one NFL source said on Saturday night that the team has already has several feelers – including one from a team “you would never expect.”
Patriots mystery team inquiring on No. 2 overall pick?
Before anyone gets too excited it’s important to flashback to the last time Peter King said the Pats were trying to move up in the draft.
I don’t buy that it would be for RGIII, and therefore I don’t buy that they’re really trying to move up. One player I think would be worth moving up that high for? Morris Claiborne. And even then not really…

Feasting when it comes to the spread – Patriots – Boston.com What we saw against the Rams was McDaniels finding the perfect blend of old-school Tom Brady (23 of 35, 304 yards, four touchdowns), and power running that McDaniels wants to implement for the bigger games down the road (149 yards on 22 carries for […]
