Trumaine “Tru” Johnson (by bdun1)
This guy’s been popping up on a lot of final Pats mocks. I’ve had him on my big board but taking an even closer look now.

Mr. Relevant Patriot – 2012 NFL Draft (by Fitzy01821)

Devin McCourty, according to league sources, is expected to be paired with Patrick Chung at safety. The Patriots wanted LaRon Landry, but were scared off by his medicals. Gregory and Josh Barrett provide good depth. Moving McCourty does leave the Patriots thin at cornerback, but not desperately. Ras-I Dowling and Kyle Arrington are the starters, and veteran Will Allen and Sterling Moore will be in the mix. The Patriots will be looking for corners who can play man coverage and could take one early in Trumaine Johnson of Montana, despite some character concerns.

Interesting report from Greg Bedard on McCourty staying at safety. I thought they’d at least start him back at cornerback, but this makes it sound like he’ll be going back there full time.

Here are some final quick hit thoughts as we await the Commish taking the stage.
NFP Breaks Down Brady to Moss vs. Colts Moss was really dogging it on this play, huh? If you rewatch this entire game (turning it off before 4th and 2 of course) you’ll find Moss basically playing with one arm. And he still had 179 yards receiving. One thing should be for sure this year, […]
