I’m excited to get my Patriots paws on Chris Brown’s new book The Essential Smart Football. I’ve linked many times to Chris’ site in the past, it’s one of the few places on the internet that really dives into football x and o strategy, and he’s always posting great Patriots/Belichick stuff. As you can see below it looks like the book will feature the same.
The Essential Smart Football features analysis of football’s top strategists and their schemes, including:

“It’s almost sickening. Its almost like an illness he has. But every decision is toward making him a better football player and I commend him on it because it’s not hard. It’s not easy to eat the way he does, to train the way he does and do the things he needs to do to be better. Especially in the position he’s in. He doesn’t have to but he loves it. It’s what he strives for and what he loves.”
