It’s my understanding that Gronkowski has been dealing with significant pain these last two weeks. He’s listed on the injury report with a hip ailment, and we know of the back problems from his college days at Arizona. He had his snaps scaled back last week in the win over Buffalo (he had an uncharacteristic lost fumble in that game), and was limited throughout this past week in practice. Gronkowski is as tough as they come, but this is something I’ll be watching closely.

Starting up a Manning Face dance party here in the Ministry of PatsPropaganda. We’ve got Dunkies, mimosas, egg sandwiches and donuts. It just doesn’t get any better than this.

via townienews:

An oldie but a goodie – hoping we see tons ‘n plenty & lots and bunches of this Sunday.

Sure, Seyton may have changed laundry, and be older and a shade less lazer rocket armed. And yeah, his younger brother has truly become the bane of all Pats fans’ existence over the last five years (I hope it rains lead gummy bears on his next donkey and moonwalk-filled birthday party). BUT…that doesn’t diminish from your love of seeing a good ol’ fashioned MANNING FACE as often as possible. Few people express disgust and disdain facially better than ol’ Seyton. I personally never ever tire of seeing it. It’s what we looked forward to any given Sunday for years. Then it went away for a year. But with a few off-shore surgeries and some DNA of Babe the pig it’s back. And more Manningfacey than ever. Never gets old. Why, did you know a Pats fan gets a free beer somewhere in the universe every time Peyton makes a Manning Face? Yeah, it’s true. Look it up.

I hope we get buckets & piles of headlines in the ballpark of “New Team, Same Old Manning Face”. Patriots, do your frigging job. BRING ME SOME VINTAGE MANNING FACE.

Let’s Go Pats.

“We had a situation when he was a senior where we lost our quarterback for the first three games, and we put him at quarterback. Turns out he could do everything our quarterback could do,” said Oliver. “He had a lot of talent, but his real upside is that he was always a bigger kid. He just stepped in perfectly – he could run the ball, he could throw the ball, and he was just a great athlete. Six-feet tall with blazing speed in high school – that’s the type of kid you want around.
“There were no incidents with him in high school. He was always at practice – just a great kid. He did all the things you want your kids to do. He was a model student – in high school, we never had a problem with Brandon. In addition, he was always a big, strong kid – he was six-feet tall and 225 pounds and fast as lightning and quick as a cat as a high schooler. As a high schooler, he looked like a grown man.”

Why do you think mankins play has been so poor this season

I’m as surprised as anyone. I thought a year removed from an ACL injury he’d have a great season. He could be fighting an injury of some kind as well. Remember he played a chunk of 2011 on a torn ACL. He’ll have his work cut out for him this week. It’s the perfect chance […]
