As long as he’s not getting DUIs and doing things that are against the law … I don’t think he’s hurting anyone. Hopefully he doesn’t hurt his arm. Then that would be bad. Gronk is a big meathead that likes to party and play football.

Good stuff from Doug Kyed at NESN, with a few interesting coverage linebackers. I’m all for taking one of those somewhere along the line.
‘Shutdown Corner’ offseason TPS report: New England Patriots
The Patriots pass rush racked up 37 sacks this season, placing them in the middle of the pack in that category. Of course, when you go a bit deeper, seven of those 37 sacks were in the regular season finale and the team had one or no sacks in four games this season. The lack of a consistent pass rush played a role in the Patriots ranking 29th against the pass in 2012.
Hard to argue this isn’t a recurring problem that needs to be rectified. Just having Chandler Jones healthy and adding some depth and penetrators along the defensive line will help. Look for Dont’a Hightower to continue to ascend with his pass rush skills as well.

[Mike Reiss] reached out to Clayton to see where the Patriots ranked in total payroll for 2012, and it turns out they were eighth overall, at $138.3 million. So the Patriots spent the most, in terms of total payroll, of any playoff club this past season.

Patriots 2013 Mock Draft Tracker
Number of good players in all these mocks, the only ones I’m unsure about are ones that have the Pats taking a defensive end.
Defensive Tackles are my favorite, followed by wide receivers and CB/Safties…
I remember one AFC head coach telling me once the only coach he ever feared was Belichick. That fear was well earned. Belichick & top coaches of all-time – New England Patriots Blog – ESPN Boston
